Wow! Heavy duty good quality.

I purchased this on the Friday sale for a real bargain price ($20) and that is quite deal.



This is the real stuff - heavy duty quality construction. I have used them with and without a silpat for baking cookies finishing satueed fish fillets oven roasting vegetables and many other purposes.



They are easy to clean and substantial. There do not seem to be any hot spots or other problems.



The only complaint I have and I make it with reservations is that they ARE heavy. Do not try to lift a loaded sheet out of the oven with one hand. The weight is also a good thing (see "substantial" above) but it easy to forget just how heavy it is going to be when you reach for that hot pad!More detail ...

No replacement ramekins available

I love the set - works really well - but I broke a ramekin and Chicago Metallic doesn't offer extra ramekins to fit in the wire rack. They are supposed to be 6-oz ramekins and the closest I could find were 6-oz ramekins from HIC - but those just barely do NOT fit in the set's wire rim - so now my set only makes 3 brulees at a time. Disappointed!

I've used the baking sheet of this set maybe 10 times in my toaster over and the teflon is already flaking off. I was very suprised since I've been careful cleaning it so as not to scratch the teflon but the teflon is peeling off anyway. So don't waste your money on this product.More detail ...

These are NOT Non-Stick

If you DO NOT need the NONSTICK coating/feature then this is a decent set.



If you DO want NONSTICK then do not buy this set.





This set is of decent quality as to the weight of the pans and construction. The "Non-Stick" feature is quite questionable. To look at the pans you would not think that they are nonstick because of the finish of the metal. They are not coated with anything at all.



So far I have only used the cookie sheet and the cookies did stick a bit. I think you would have to use nonstick spray/butter/grease on each pan in order for it to be nonstick.



The small pizza pans are cute. They are extremely shallow though. It is basically a flat tray with a rolled rim.



The cookie sheet holds about six cookies of a small size. It only takes up half of a rack in my toaster oven. I was really hoping it was going to be at least slightly bigger. It was the main thing that I wanted. I was not able to find them in any local stores. I saw the set here and figured I might as well just get that. If the cookie sheet did not have the shaped sides/gripsides it would allow more baking space. I did read the dimensions but never thought of the shaped sides as taking up so much of it.



The main downfall of this set is the lack of nonstick since it is advertised in the product name itself. As I said the actual construction of the pans is ok quality for the price. I think they should omit "Non-Stick" from the product name though. It is misleading.



This is my toaster oven and I highly recommend it.
